!! now approaching: the swarm !!

this site is free from flashing or flickering graphics, autoplaying audio, and 100% explicit content. however, there will be talk about and possibly depictions of horror, insects & invertebrates, parasites, clowns, and occasional mature themes here! all other triggers should be announced at the top of the page, or before clicking to the page.
additionally, the only instances of javascript should be just some for-fun widgets and toys in the future. the site should still be usable without javascript enabled, though!

a looping gif featuring a square hole facing downwards. an orange tabby cat with big eyes slowly pokes its head out of it, stays for a second, and then pulls back into the hole before repeating the action again
Hello! Welcome! This site is partially a way to share our art and passions with the world without having to deal with the evils that are modern social media sites, and partially a for-fun project to work on code and storytelling through the web!

You can probably tell based on the use of we/our, but this site is made by a plural system! Mainly, the ones of us who work on it are Cicada (the host), Vacation (co-host), Nicole, and [REDACTED]. You can learn more about us and the rest of our system members in the About page linked above :-]

This site is pretty much a constant work-in-progress, and (as we're writing this, at least) is pretty new and may be lacking a lot of things. we'd suggest doing a hard refresh every time you leave and come back after a while, and to check the Update Log(to be linked) to see what's changed!

We hope you have a good time exploring our site and all it entails! ^w^

Song Of The [Time Period]

every so often we add a new song here that we like and want to shout out. this time, its:

a mostly-black album cover featuring white lines criss-crossing it, resembling broken glass. the white lines are thickest around the corners, and in the center where they meet, where they form what looks like a chipped-away piece with an x-shaped pupil looking through it
Meatshow

(from Sinister Minds)

a gif of a silhoutte of a cat repeatedly tapping a purple book with its paw. text under it reads 'sign the guestbook' in bold lettering

while there's no obligation to, we do have a guestbook to sign if you'd like!! (or if there are any problems with the site, this is probably the fastest way to convey them other than tumblr)

(old previous comments are most likely from our old site, made a couple years ago. don't mind them! :-P)

Mini-Sitemap
(things unlinked currently don't exist, but are WIPs or planned to be added in the future!)

Webrings & Fanlistings

this is where we would put our collection of webrings and fanlistings... if we had any! jokes aside, we're still working on it :-P
